LVMH taps Lancôme exec to lead Sephora Collection

LVMH appointed Sylvia Tournery as President of Sephora Collection. Tournery joined from Lancôme, where she served as Global Deputy General Manager, a position she held within a career at the L'Oréal-owned brand stretching back to 2009. The appointment coincides with Sephora Collection's 30th anniversary and is focused on strengthening product leadership and increasing desirability at scale.

Harrods appoints Chief Operating Officer amid wider leadership shake-up

Harrods appointed Andreas Efstathiou as Chief Operating Officer, a newly created role for the retailer that, for the first time, places its end-to-end operations under a single leader. Efstathiou, currently Chief Information Officer at Harrods, will take on the expanded remit from September, overseeing supply chain, facilities management, engineering and security. It follows Operations Director James Healy's planned retirement and is part of a broader reshuffle of Harrods' Management Executive Committee.

Summer Fridays CEO to retire, with successor search underway

Summer Fridays said Chief Executive John Heffner is set to step down after more than six years in the role. Heffner, who joined in 2020, will stay on while the board looks for his successor, before moving into an advisory capacity. Heffner's career in beauty spans more than 40 years and includes senior posts at P&G, Unilever, OPI and Drybar. Co-founders Marianna Hewitt and Lauren Ireland said Heffner's "impact on our brand, team and business has been immeasurable."

Julien Dossena exits Rabanne after 13 years as Creative Director

Rabanne confirmed the departure of Julien Dossena, who joined the house in early 2013 after spending four years at Balenciaga as a senior designer alongside Nicolas Ghesquière. The brand said Dossena "played a defining role in shaping a new era for Rabanne" and that his tenure saw "significant growth and renewed global visibility". A successor will be announced in due course.
