This month has brought a wave of major industry shake-ups, as brands compete to secure top talent. While some focus on turnaround strategies, others are driving international growth and expansion. TheIndustry.beauty highlights the most notable appointments, spanning roles from managing director and commercial leadership to marketing and communications.

The Body Shop

The Body Shop names Global Brand & Communications Director

The Body Shop appointed Shimon Kalichman as its Global Brand & Communications Director. Kalichman brings 25 years of beauty industry experience, covering senior brand marketing and communications roles with companies such as Unilever, Estée Lauder Companies and L’Occitane Group. He first joined The Body Shop in 2025 in a consulting capacity before moving into this new role.

LVMH

LVMH bolsters beauty leadership with Deputy CEO appointment

Philippe Farnier was appointed as Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Parfums Christian Dior and the LVMH beauty division, effective immediately. According to the luxury house, Farnier's responsibilities include supporting the division’s transformation and strengthening collaboration across its brands.

GHD

GHD names Chief Growth Officer as global roles realigned for expansion

GHD announced a series of leadership changes aimed at strengthening its global operating model and supporting continued expansion. As part of this evolution, the company transitioned the Chief Marketing & Digital Officer role into a broader Chief Growth Officer (CGO) position. Liz Griffiths, formerly Managing Director for UK&I, stepped into the new CGO role. Ross Leibbrandt, who served as Managing Director for APAC, replaced Griffiths as Managing Director for UK&I, while Norberto Videira expanded his responsibilities to become Regional Managing Director for EMEA and APAC.

Gatineau

Gatineau appoints former Elemis UK boss as Managing Director

Gatineau appointed Susan Harvey as Managing Director, joining the French skincare brand to support its next phase of growth and transformation. Harvey brings more than 15 years of experience in the prestige beauty sector and joins from Elemis, where she held a number of senior leadership roles, most recently serving as UK General Manager until July 2025.

Charlotte Tilbury

Charlotte Tilbury appoints former Rabanne exec as new CMO

Charlotte Tilbury Beauty named Jerome Leloup as its new Chief Marketing Officer, following his departure from fellow Puig-owned beauty brand Rabanne. Leloup joined Puig in 2012 as General Manager of Premium & Niche Brands. Prior to that, he spent more than seven years at Parfums Christian Dior and over five years at L'Oréal.

Glossier

Glossier names Ouai marketing boss as CMO amid strategic reset

Glossier has appointed Nicole Solorzano as its new Chief Marketing Officer, marking a key leadership move as the brand undergoes a strategic reset. Solorzano, who will join the beauty brand on 6 April, will oversee product marketing as well as content and community initiatives, while leading Glossier’s global brand vision during what insiders describe as a “re-founding” phase.

Superdrug

Finance head steps up to lead supply chain at Superdrug and Savers

AS Watson announced the appointment of Mark Peaker as Supply Chain Director for Superdrug and Savers. Peaker joined Superdrug in 2020 as Head of Commercial Finance, where he led teams responsible for key commercial finance functions and supported a range of operational and supply chain initiatives. In his new role, Peaker oversees supply chain operations across both Superdrug and Savers.

Debenhams

Debenhams promotes Chief Commercial Officer to Managing Director

Debenhams Group promoted Chief Commercial Officer Richard Vanoli to the role of Managing Director of Debenhams to lead the “next stage of growth”. He will not only focus on accelerating the growth of the online department store, but also on strengthening brand partnerships and expanding the marketplace, while continuing to invest in technology to enhance the customer experience.

Omorovicza

Omorovicza appoints former Sol de Janeiro UK boss as CMO

Luxury skincare brand Omorovicza appointed Pauline Singh as its new Chief Marketing Officer. Singh brings industry experience to the role, most recently serving at Sol de Janeiro as Director for the UK and Ireland until November 2025. Prior to this, she spent more than  14 years at L'Oréal Group, where she held several senior roles.

Supergoop

Supergoop names first Chief Human Resources Officer as it enters next phase of growth

Supergoop appointed Alana Kwarta as its first Chief Human Resources Officer, reflecting its focus on talent, leadership and organisational effectiveness as "strategic drivers of long-term performance". Kwarta will work closely with the leadership team to shape organisational design, establish scalable operating processes and lead company-wide change initiatives.

Anna teal

Grown Alchemist CEO Anna Teal exits to launch new wellness brand

Not a new appointment, but a departure: Anna Teal stepped down as Global CEO of Grown Alchemist after three years in the role. She will now focus on The Growth Advisory, where she advises founders, operators and investors on growth, brand, strategy and scaling. At the same time, Teal is developing AFIMA, a modern wellness brand she describes as “still in its early stages, but rooted in a white space I care deeply about”.
