Dermatica, the personalised skincare platform, has undergone a brand makeover to emphasise on providing affordable solutions tailored to each customer.

Dermatica was founded in 2018 by Dwayne D’Souza. The brand aims to make expert, effective, science-backed skincare accessible and affordable for everyone, combining the power of clinical ingredients with personalised treatments to offer products tailored to specific skincare concerns.

The rebrand has seen the business update its packaging and provide further clarity on its affordability and development techniques.

Customers can receive their first personalised formula at a reduced price of £2.90, with the subscription costing £19.99 a month for 28 days’ worth of formula. Ready-made everyday skincare essentials from £5.

Customers can take an online questionnaire and upload selfies to be assessed by the brand’s team of experts including consultant dermatologists, pharmacists and GPs. The business has set treatment pathways for skin concerns like acne, rosacea, melasma, hypermutation and ageing.

All Dermatica products are made in England and formulated with cruelty-free and vegan ingredients.

Dwayne D Souza, a healthcare entrepreneur and Founder of Dermatica, commented: "Since 2018, Dermatica has been pioneering technology to deliver evidence-based personalised formulas to customers around the globe. Our experts carefully select from a wide range of effective ingredients to deliver personalised formulas that work. We also check in with ongoing support, and adjust treatment plans as skin progresses.

"Dermatica continues to evolve and bring new innovation to the market, so we felt now was the perfect time to refresh the brand as we enable more people to achieve their skin goals!"

Dr Mieran Sethi, Dermatica consultant dermatologist, added: “The last decade has seen an increasing number of personalised skin care offerings, most of which have been expensive and time-consuming. However, skin health is measurably determined by numerous individual factors such as hydration levels, inflammation, wrinkle depth and oil production. With our technological advances and extensive research we then can provide products which are tailored to consumers’ individual requirements to help improve their skin health.”
