P&G Beauty has stepped into the metaverse to launch its new virtual storytelling platform BeautySphere, allowing visitors to virtually interact with its portfolio of beauty brands through live and stimulated content.

The BeautySphere features engaging content, livestream discussions and a gamified challenge for visitors to learn about sustainability, safety, transparency, quality and performance, equality, inclusion and wellbeing in beauty.

Users will be guided through immersive video content sharing the ways P&G Beauty has already brought the responsible beauty principles to life through its portfolio of brands.

Procter & Gamble (P&G) is an US multinational consumer goods corporation, with a portfolio of beauty brands including Aussie, Herbal Essences, Olay and Pantene.

Participants can also virtually visit the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, to learn how P&G scientists partner with Kew’s experts to ensure the botanicals used in Herbal Essences bio:renew products are legitimate and of high quality.

Alex Keith, CEO of P&G Beauty, said: “BeautySphere was inspired by our ongoing commitment to find new and surprising ways for people to connect with our brands, products and values. Our hope is that, through these fully immersive and digital experiences, visitors can interact with our brands in surprising, engaging ways."
