P&G enhances fragrance design with new AI-based solution
Procter & Gamble (P&G) has partnered with Moodify, an AI-based fragrance design software solution, to strengthen its fragrance development.
The owner of Aussie and Olay will employ Moodify's capabilities for malodor control based on digital scent creation to execute fragrance design on a larger scale.
It marks a "revolutionary shift" in using AI technology to enhance product development, design, and speed to market.
Jerry Porter, Chief R&D and Innovation Officer, Fabric & Home Care, Flavour & Fragrances at Procter & Gamble, said: "This is a significant step in our digital transformation agenda, emphasising the use of digital tools to improve the use of fragrance in products.

Moodify is a scent-tech company, which allows brands and fragrance houses to create and control scents for products. Its solutions offer reduced time and cost-to-market, enabling "scalable, sustainable, and compliant production".
