Prada Beauty unveils Europe’s largest hand-painted mural in London starring Zendaya
Prada Beauty has unveiled what it describes as Europe’s largest hand-painted mural in London, featuring global ambassador Zendaya to mark the launch of its new Prada Paradoxe Sweet Chemistry Eau de Parfum.
The mural spans hundreds of square metres at 112 Tabernacle Street in Shoreditch and is open to the public until 4 October 2026.
The installation recreates a scene from the fragrance campaign film Never The Same, Always Myself, in which Zendaya walks past a hand-painted mural of herself. The film was directed by Academy Award-winning filmmaker Barry Jenkins, with the London installation bringing the campaign concept into a physical setting.
The mural forms part of Prada Beauty’s wider launch of Paradoxe Sweet Chemistry, the latest addition to its Paradoxe fragrance line. Prada describes the fragrance as exploring the relationship between fruitiness, floral notes and sweetness.
Zendaya became the face of Prada Paradoxe in 2025, having previously spoken about discovering the original Paradoxe Eau de Parfum and making it her signature scent after wearing it to the 2025 Met Gala. She said Sweet Chemistry had since become part of her fragrance rotation, with its blackcurrant and neroli notes offering a new interpretation of the scent.
The new fragrance builds on the existing Paradoxe franchise, which remains one of Prada Beauty’s key fragrance lines. The original Paradoxe Eau de Parfum launched in 2022, with the campaign centred on the idea of embracing the different sides of a woman’s identity.
For Sweet Chemistry, Prada Beauty has extended that campaign into a physical London activation, using Zendaya’s image as the centrepiece of the mural. The installation brings together the fragrance, film and visual art while also placing the launch in Shoreditch, an area known for its street art and creative spaces.
The Prada Beauty mural is open to the public at 112 Tabernacle Street, London EC2A 4LE, until 4 October.
