Primark is set to launch its ‘we’re with you’ Breast Cancer Awareness campaign. With an ambitious target of raising £1 million, the retail powerhouse is running in-store activations and launching a 37-piece collection, which includes limited-edition pink beauty products.

Now in its fourth year, Primark’s latest Cancer Awareness campaign spotlights the journeys of five women across five countries, through self-directed videos and photos, who have been affected by breast cancer.

The campaign also includes a donation of over £1 million to cancer charities across Europe and the US, including £300,000 in the UK. The funds will go towards raising awareness, research and support for cancer services.

The retailer is also setting an ambitious target of raising an additional £1 million in-store to raise much-needed funds for local charities including Breast Cancer Now.

Primark’s latest Breast Cancer Awareness collection includes 37 products and is made up of two ranges. The post-surgery range includes specialist products developed for women affected by breast cancer, such as £7 post-surgery bras. The solidarity range is a limited-edition range of apparel, homeware, beauty products and more. Prices start from £4, and the collection is available in all stores now.

As part of the solidarity range, limited edition Primark Beauty hero products have turned pink. The collection is made up of Primark Beauty PS…Prep + Perfect Glow Cream (£4.50), Primark Beauty PS…Prep + Perfect Setting Spray (£4.50) and Primark Beauty PS…Vitamin Lip Oil (£2.50).

Kari Rodgers, UK Retail Director at Primark, said: "Primark is committed to supporting women for life, and we want women who are affected by breast cancer to feel supported, strong and confident. That’s why we’re supporting Breast Cancer Awareness this October and all year round, through our affordable and accessible post-surgery products, our donations to charity partners, as well as raising awareness of self-checking and the importance of early detection through educational signage in-store and across our digital channels."

Rachael Franklin, Director of Fundraising, Communications and Engagement at Breast Cancer Now, added: "We’re incredibly grateful to be partnering with Primark once again, funding our vital Someone Like Me Service for the second year. Last year, the funding allowed volunteers to make over 2,000 hours of personalised calls to people in need of support, comfort and advice at an incredibly difficult time in their lives.

"This partnership means we can be there for more people affected by breast cancer, as well as raising vital breast awareness through in-store activations. With one woman diagnosed with breast cancer every ten minutes in the UK, our work is more important than ever, and this partnership takes us closer to our ambition - where everyone diagnosed with breast cancer lives and is supported to live well."
