Primark launches mobile app in UK

Primark has today launched its first-ever mobile-friendly customer app in the UK, offering personalised notifications, real-time stock checks, store information and curated favourites.

Following launches in Ireland and Italy last summer, the new UK “all-in-one” platform, now available to download from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, also makes shopping via Primark’s popular Click & Collect service - even now available in all 189 stores across England, Scotland, and Wales - even more accessible.

Matt Houston, Chief Customer & Digital Officer at Primark, said: “Following the successful launch of our app in Ireland and Italy, we’re excited to bring an even smarter, more connected shopping experience to the UK.

“Customers are increasingly turning to digital tools that make shopping easier and more rewarding, and we’re confident that our app will deliver an intuitive, personalised experience that’s been carefully designed to help them get the most out of every Primark visit.”

A built-in store locator on the app provides quick access to opening hours and directions, while the ‘Favourites’ feature allows users to save top picks for their next visit.

Shoppers can also access personalised notifications to stay up to date on the latest arrivals, collection launches and exclusive updates.

Primark has been steadily investing in digital, building on the success of its social media platforms, which now boast over 25 million followers globally. It has also seen continued website growth, with 25% of customers who visit the UK website using the stock check feature.
