REN Clean Skincare has marked the launch of its brand new Everhydrate range with a campaign shot by celebrity photographer and fan of the brand Simon Emmett.

Emmett was chosen to shoot the campaign, not just because of his long-standing brand advocacy, but because his authentic approach to beauty portraiture chimed with the values of the REN brand.

The campaign was shot over two days in London and saw Emmett collaborate with REN’s Global Creative Director, Emma-Louise Gordon to create an immersive underwater experience – inspired by the marine bioactives in the Everhydrate formulation – in which the model was submerged.

“I wanted this campaign to show that Everhydrate does more than scratch the surface – it goes deeper and gets results. The benefits of the products were visually communicated with the submergence of the model in water and enhanced with showcasing the bioactive ingredients themselves," explained Gordon.

“It was a pleasure working with Emma and the team at REN. Our vision and goal were aligned to capture authentic natural beauty and skincare results," Emmett added.

The new Everhydrate range comprises an algae-activated Marine Moisture-Restore Serum and Marine Moisture-Replenish Cream. It is designed to work in synergy with skin to deliver a clinically proven increase in deep skin hydration and moisture retention for up to 72 hours.

Powered by a moisture-maximising matrix infused with pioneering water-retention technology and sustainably sourced algae extracts; the lightweight, yet rich, water-locking Marine Moisture-Replenish Cream is said to flood the skin with moisture and then trap it on the skin’s surface to intensively replenish and deliver relief from dehydration. Meanwhile the water-jelly osmo-hydration serum also features the moisture-maximising matrix infused with Wild Rosella and sustainably sourced algae extracts. It is designed to draw moisture into the skin "like a magnet".

Both products are packaged in recyclable packaging – a mono-material pump pack for the cream and a recyclable glass bottle with 50% recycled plastic twist-lock pump for the serum. The cream is priced at £35 and the serum at £40. The range will launch first online at REN and at Space NK, followed by a national launch on 13 April.
