Revolution Beauty Group, which has recently overcome an auditing controversy, has today announced the appointment of Lauren Brindley as Chief Executive Officer, effective 18 September.

Revolution Beauty's shares resumed trading last month after it was thrown into crisis last autumn when shares were suspended after auditors refused to sign off its accounts for the last financial year, which sparked an investigation into its finances.

In November 2022, Revolution Beauty's Executive Chairman Tom Allsworth and CEO Adam Minto signed their resignations from the business amid the ongoing investigation.

Alistair McGeorge, Executive Chairman of Revolution Beauty, said in a statement: "We are pleased that Lauren will be joining Revolution Beauty at such a critical and exciting time for the group.

"Lauren’s extensive knowledge of the beauty and retail industries, and proven track record of driving meaningful results, will be critical as we build Revolution Beauty into a global beauty leader."

Brindley joins Revolution Beauty after from Walgreens where she was the Vice President for Beauty and Personal Care at Walgreens. Prior to this, she worked for Boots UK and Boots Retail International as Head of Prestige Beauty & Fragrance.

Lauren Brindley commented: “Revolution Beauty is recognised as one of the fastest product innovators in the sector and the brand has already proven it has global potential. I am excited to join the Revolution Beauty team and bring this amazing brand and our innovative products to consumers across the globe."
