British beauty group Revolution Beauty has appointed Sara Staniford as President of Revolution Beauty USA, leading business growth across the pond.

Staniford previously served as Group Retail Director at Revolution Beauty London, where she launched five new categories within the group's product portfolio. She will expand on these initiatives in her new role and lead the US business to ensure "successful growth".

Prior to Revolution Beauty, Staniford held various roles at Nails Inc, L’Oreal, NYX Cosmetics and Bobbi Brown.

Sara Staniford, newly appointed President of Revolution Beauty USA, said: “It’s a tremendous honour to be entrusted with the role of President of Revolution Beauty USA.

"Having been a part of the team since 2020, it’s been incredible to see the amount of growth the brand has achieved during my tenure. Across product innovation, continued retailer roll-outs and beyond, I am incredibly confident in the trajectory of Revolution Beauty’s growth within the USA under my leadership.”

The news follows an independent investigation into Revolution Beauty by law firm Macfarlanes and accountant Forensic Risk Alliance. The investigation found several major concerns, such as historical sales and personal loans made by its former CEO.

In November 2022, Adam Minto announced his resignation. Shortly after, Bob Holt OBE was appointed as the group's new CEO. Holt had previously been providing leadership to the business as interim Chief Operating Officer.

The group is currently seeking new Non-Executive Directors, with a view to ensuring that the board has the "appropriate skills, experience and balance to provide appropriate challenge to management and the executive team as the group looks to the future".
