Chris Onslow, Revolution Beauty's Sales Director for Hair and Revolution Outlet, has announced his resignation.

Onslow first joined Revolution Beauty in March 2016, where he has served as Sales Director for Hair and Revolution Outlet for over seven years. Prior to this, he held various senior roles at Debenhams, Burton Menswear, Thomas Cook UK and George at Asda, amongst others.

In a post on LinkedIn, Chris Onslow said: "Adam Minto. Tom Allsworth. Thank you for allowing me to be part of the Revolution Beauty journey. You have built the most incredible, exciting, innovative brand in beauty. You also built the best team with some of the most amazing talent.

"The clue is in the name, you can’t stop the Revolution! I’m delighted to have played a part. I wish the brand every success for the future! Thank you both. Elvis has left the building."

He added: "I'm very excited about my next chapter, it promises to be bigger and better than ever!"

The news comes after a series of resignations at Revolution Beauty over the last six months, following an independent investigation into the group's finances.

As announced on 23 September 2022, the company's auditor, BDO, identified a number of "serious concerns" that had arisen during the course of its work on the group's accounts for the financial year ending 28 February 2022. As a result, BDO was unable to complete its audit, which was due to be published by 31 August 2022.

Following this, BDO recommended the appointment of external advisers to undertake an independent investigation, resulting in the appointment of Macfarlanes and Forensic Risk Alliance. Revolution Beauty also formed an Investigation Committee to lead the process with Macfarlanes and FRA.

In October, Revolution Beauty's Executive Chairman Tom Allsworth and CEO Adam Minto agreed to temporarily step away from the business amid the ongoing investigation.

In November, Adam Minto announced his resignation. Shortly after, Bob Holt OBE was appointed as the group's new CEO. Holt had previously been providing leadership to the business as interim Chief Operating Officer.

In December, Revolution Beauty announced the resignation of Gita Samani and Edward Rumsey as Non-Executive Directors.
