Revolution Beauty Group has reported its financial results for the Christmas trading period, revealing a 41% sales increase from 1 November to 31 December 2021.

Revolutionbeauty.com sales grew by 50% year-on-year during this period, with returning visitors to the website increasing by 23% year-on-year.

The beauty group highlighted its "encouraging results" across its new categories of haircare and fragrance across its UK, US and Australian websites.

The trading update also emphasises Makeup Revolution's expansion to Boots online and in-store across the UK and Ireland. This will see Revolution Beauty sell its products across cosmetics, skincare, haircare and gifting at the health and beauty retailer.

Adam Minto, CEO and Co-founder of Revolution Beauty Group, said: "We were pleased to see good underlying growth in the business across our peak Christmas trading period of November and December, seeing us deliver the quality products we're known for, at affordable prices.

"As we look forward, our growth in our direct to consumer business coupled with our successful retail expansion into the UK and the US provides strong momentum for the business. We look forward to updating the market with our full year results later in the year."
