Rheal expands into prenatal wellness with new supplement launch

UK-based health and nutrition brand Rheal has launched Pregnancy + New Mama, its first dedicated pre- and postnatal supplement.

The product was developed by Rheal founder Charlotte Ali after she struggled to find a pregnancy supplement she felt confident using during her own experience of motherhood.

Working with experts, the formulation has been designed with a focus on clean, bioavailable ingredients, aiming to address common concerns in the prenatal category such as confusing marketing claims, poorly absorbed nutrients and products that don’t always support wellbeing as intended.

According to the brand, the launch reflects a broader goal of bringing greater trust, transparency and education to maternal nutrition, supported by Ali’s personal experience alongside expert-backed development.

"I was pregnant, exhausted and standing in the supplement aisle reading labels I didn’t trust. So I made the one I wished I could have bought. I didn’t just struggle to find a prenatal, I struggled to trust what I was seeing. Even the ones recommended to me didn’t feel right," said Ali.

Rheal was founded in 2017 by Charlotte Ali and Sean Ali, following their shared interest in simplifying nutrition through natural, wholefood-based supplements.

The brand emerged after Charlotte experienced ongoing health challenges, including fatigue, low immunity and issues linked to coeliac disease (an autoimmune condition in which eating gluten damages the small intestine), prompting the pair to explore superfood-based nutrition approaches.

From this personal starting point, they began developing products designed to make everyday nutrition more accessible, using what they describe as real, functional ingredients rather than synthetic alternatives.

Over time, Rheal has expanded into a wider wellness range focused on areas such as energy, digestion, hydration and hormonal health, building its offering around the principle of simplifying supplementation for everyday use.

The launch of Pregnancy + New Mama marks Rheal’s entry into the prenatal category and continues its focus on combining personal experience with ingredient-led formulation in the health and wellness space.
