Rimmel London has announced British TV presenter and Love Island host Maya Jama as its latest global ambassador.

The 28-year-old is best known as the new presenter of ITV2's dating series Love Island, as well as hosting the BBC Three competition Glow Up: Britain's Next Make-Up Star. She has also fronted other TV series' including The Circle and Peter Crouch: Save Our Summer.

The news was announced via Rimmel London's Instagram, with Jama pictured in its signature red lipstick and a short video showcasing snippets of her work so far as global ambassador.

In her new role at Rimmel London, Jama will be fronting various media campaigns, following in the footsteps of British models such as Kate Moss, Cara Delevingne and Adwoa Aboah.

The 28-year-old also joins Rimmel London alongside Olympic diver Tom Daley, who was named as the brand's first male-ever global spokesperson in October 2022.

Commenting on the appointment, Maya Jama said: “As a lifelong Rimmel London fan, I am so excited to be the new ambassador for the brand. I’ve always loved how makeup makes me feel, it’s a form of self-expression. Rimmel London encourages people to reinvent the rules and love themselves for who they are, which is so liberating.”
