Clean cosmetics company RMS Beauty, which was founded by world-renowned makeup artist Rose Marie Swift, has forayed into the world of skincare with a trio of products.

The skin-loving formulations are powered by GlowPlex, a complex of Niacinamide and natural peptides including Quinoa Seed Extract and Pea Extract, as well as antioxidant superfruit Kakadu Plum, a natural, stable form of Vitamin C.

The best-selling Beauty Oil has had an update – officially relaunching as Kakadu Beauty Oil (£61). The potent blend of nourishing oils will give the skin a boost of hydration to prep for makeup, balance skin and improve texture. Each product is available for purchase at Cult Beauty now.

Rose Marie Swift said: "As a makeup artist, I think about skincare first and foremost because that's where the glow begins. This beauty oil is the best thing I've ever used to prep skin before applying makeup. Use it day and night. The luxurious oils and my special blend of adaptogenic herbs come together and get the skin into its happy place."

For a dose of fragrance-free radiance, meet the Kakadu Luxe Cream (£53). This skin-firming "wonder cream" is enriched with Organic Shea Butter and Artichoke Extract that leaves the skin looking plump and hydrated, of course.

The Founder added: "It goes on so smooth, it's like silk. You can feel the layer of moisture doing its thing on your skin but it never looks greasy, it just absorbs in. My skin is so soft and hydrated after I use it, I’m freaking out at the results."

Finally, for £39, the SuperSerum Hydrating Mist's dual-phase spritzing supplies an instant glow. Infused with Mineral Sea Water, Wildcrafted Buriti Oil and RMS Beauty’s proprietary Adaptogenic Herbal Blend, this instantly quenches skin’s thirst. For Swift, this is the perfect product to keep in your handbag for a mid-day pick-me-up whilst on the go.

As usual, RMS' latest launches are all 'clean'. When speaking to TheIndustry.beauty during a candid interview, Rose Marie Swift said: "There are so many ingredients and products that people label as "clean" but are filled with things like silicones. You can avoid silicone; you don't have that super slippy slidey feeling but we have found alternatives.

"In my opinion, we’re the cleanest of the clean brands that rival famous products and categories."

Rose-Marie Swift started her career as a makeup artist, soon shooting to stardom after working with some of the world’s top models. Swift went on to create RMS Beauty after years of searching for products that not only looked natural on the skin but also weren't formulated with harmful chemicals.

RMS Beauty was founded in 2009, pioneering the 'clean beauty' movement. The brand birthed a slew of companies jumping on the ‘clean’ beauty bandwagon and saturating the once-niche market. Since its inception, RMS gained global recognition and is now stocked in Space NK, Sephora and Cult Beauty in the UK.
