Sally Beauty Holdings reported net sales of $903 million (£665 million) for the second quarter ended 31 March 2026, an increase of 2.3% compared with the prior year.

Global e-commerce sales rose 13% to $108 million (£79 million), representing 12% of total net sales.

As a result, the company tightened its net sales guidance range while reiterating all other financial metrics for the full year.

Denise Paulonis, President and Chief Executive Officer at Sally Beauty Holdings, said: "Our second quarter results reflect solid execution and the resilience of our operating model amid a dynamic macroeconomic environment.

"We delivered low-single digit sales growth, gross margin expansion, and strong cash flow from operations, driven by the compounding benefits of our growth initiatives.

"As we enter the second half of fiscal 2026, we remain confident in our full-year outlook and believe the company is positioned to deliver consistent, profitable growth and shareholder value over the long-term."

In the UK, Sally Beauty is part of the Sally Europe family, an international arm of Sally Beauty Holdings.

Its stores span seven markets in the UK, ROI, France, Germany, Belgium, Spain and the Netherlands. In the UK and Ireland alone, the business operates more than 225 stores.

One of the largest distributors of professional hair and beauty products, the retailer also stocks over 800 brands and 8,000 products. It celebrated its 60th anniversary in 2024.

Last year, the retailer launched a new loyalty programme, designed to increase engagement and retention of both retail and trade customers.

It also acquired Flair Hair & Beauty Supplies in July 2024, marking a significant move to strengthen its retail and professional presence in the Republic of Ireland.
