Sephora is opening its second UK store at Westfield Stratford on 15 November 2023, with additional locations expected to follow as the brand seeks out country-wide sites.

The new store will showcase an assortment of products and personal services from 125 brands across makeup, skincare, haircare, fragrance and wellness.

This includes a selection of new and exclusive brands, such as Adwoa Beauty, Relevant, STRAAND, Salt & Stone and Naked Sundays, alongside the retailer's existing portfolio.

The store’s façade will be wrapped in Sephora's iconic black and white stripes, whilst the "ultra modern" interior will follow the distinctive codes of the first store with soft geometric shapes, ambient lighting, textured finishes and succulent greenery.

A 'Grand Beauty Hub' will also take a premium position in-store, offering a range of beauty services and treatments performed by in-house experts.

This includes professional makeup services, as well as express skin treatments and hair styling from brands including Elemis, Dermalogica and Dyson.

Other highlight services and features will include a Sephora UK Lip Bar, The Benefit Brow Bar and personalised fragrance engraving.

Sarah Boyd, CEO at Sephora UK, said: "We are so grateful for the welcome we have received from our fans in the UK. Their response to our White City opening blew us away and far exceeded our expectations.

"We are committed to giving the UK a unique Sephora experience, one tailored to the unique cultural needs of this wonderful country. We hope the community in Stratford love the store as much as those in West London and look forward to a day of treats and surprises at our opening."

The new location will follow the opening of Sephora's first store at Westfield London - which outperformed expectations by 300%, according to LVMH CEO of Selective Retailing Christopher de Lapuente.

Sephora originally left the UK market in 2005, having opened a handful of stores. In 2021, as a prelude to its return, the retailer acquired Feelunique in a £132 million deal. It then took over Feelunique's former website and launched in the UK online in October 2022 and in-store at Westfield London in March 2023.
