Sephora is heading to Oxford - here's what you need to know
Sephora UK is opening a new store in Oxford this autumn, marking its fifth store launch of 2025.
Located at Westgate Oxford, this reflects the retailer’s 11th UK store with 3,919 square footage of total sales floor space aiming to create an "accessible and inspiring" environment for customers in the historic Oxfordshire region.
It will stock a selection of local and global brands across makeup, skincare, haircare, fragrance, grooming, and wellness - including Makeup by Mario, Haus Labs, and Tower 28, among many others - as well as its own Sephora Collection.
Since the launch of its debut store at Westfield London in 2023, Sephora has seen significant consumer demand for expansion across the UK.
The announcement adds to Sephora UK’s growing list of store openings in 2025, including Liverpool, which opened on 22 May, as well as upcoming locations in Sheffield, Manchester and Cardiff, scheduled for later this summer and beyond.
Sarah Boyd, Managing Director at Sephora UK, said: "We’re thrilled to be bringing Sephora UK to the beautiful city of Oxford and the iconic Westgate Oxford shopping centre in the heart of the town.
"This marks our 11th UK store, with the passionate response from consumers continuing to drive our strategy as we look for new locations. With Oxford’s vibrant beauty scene, its dynamic student presence, and global tourist appeal, we expect this store to become a buzzing hub of beauty activity."
Brendan Hattam, Centre Director at Westgate Oxford, added: "We know that our guests are keen to shop leading health and beauty brands, particularly those offering unique or exclusive products, so we are delighted to be welcoming the region’s first Sephora store.
"We will be announcing more details on the beauty retailer's arrival, alongside opening dates, in due course."
