Sephora to open fifth London store this winter
Sephora UK is set to open a new 4,500 sq ft store at Brent Cross shopping centre in North London this winter.
A firm opening date is to be confirmed in November, Brent Cross shared on its Instagram account.
Catherine Wade, leasing manager at Hammerson, commented: "As one of the most recognisable names in global beauty retail, Sephora UK will further strengthen our beauty and lifestyle offer at Brent Cross."
The announcement follows a series of store openings for Sephora, which now operates four stores in the capital and 14 others across the UK.
In July, Sephora UK opened its first boutique-format store on London's Carnaby Street, with a second boutique store opening in Spitalfields market the same month.
The retailer said the boutique concept was developed in response to customer feedback, with the smaller stores intended to complement its existing larger-format locations while supporting its evolving UK retail strategy.
"Since returning to the UK, our community has continued to ask for more Sephora locations across central London, so we're incredibly proud to bring this exciting new format to one of the world's most iconic shopping destinations after a period of regional expansion," commented Sarah Boyd, Managing Director at Sephora UK, at the time of the Carnaby Street store opening.
The news comes as the beauty giant prepares to host the first UK edition of SEPHORiA, offering beauty enthusiasts the chance to experience a unique celebration of creativity, innovation and discovery, shaped by UK culture and the latest beauty trends.
The event will take place at 180 Studios on The Strand in central London on 16 and 17 October, featuring exclusive product launches, immersive brand activations, expert-led masterclasses and personalised beauty services.
