Shark Beauty unveils new haircare innovations and names Chris Appleton as global ambassador
Shark Beauty has named celebrity hairstylist Chris Appleton as global ambassador as it unveils two new haircare innovations.
During the two-year partnership, Appleton will work with the brand to help consumers celebrate their hair and build on its mission to "democratise high-end hairstyling, bringing the celebrity hairstyling experience to the masses".
His role will include in-person brand activations, social and digital content, and product development counsel.
For his first campaign, Appleton is fronting the launch of Shark's new SpeedStyle and SmoothStyle tools. These join the brand's existing haircare range designed to "ensure everyone has access to salon quality hair at home".
The SpeedStyle is a lightweight digital hair dryer that takes hair from wet to styled without any heat damage, whilst the SmoothStyle works to straighten and smooth hair with its heated comb technology.

The Shark SpeedStyle will be available in the UK from early September, with the Shark SmoothStyle set to join the line-up towards the end of the year.
