Shoppers and retailers must tackle the scourge of fast fashion, if the Government won't

People don’t like being told what to do. And governments don’t like being unpopular. A simple illustration of this comes in ministers’ outright rejection of a report by MPs urging a crackdown on the fast fashion industry.

Earlier this year the environmental audit committee set forth 18 cogently argued proposals on everything from the sustainability of clothing to the protection of workers’ rights.
