'Should I leave or should IPO?' Levi Strauss shares soar on New York debut

hares in Levi Strauss soared almost a third in New York on Thursday as the jeans maker began its second stint as a public company.
After being priced above the guide range at $17 (£13), the stock under the ticker LEVI soared close to $23 thanks to very strong demand.
The New York Stock Exchange suspended its denim ban for the occasion, allowing traders to don jeans and T shirts.
