Skandinavisk supports Ukraine with profit donations

Fragrance and bodycare company Skandinavisk has committed to donating 100% of its profits in March from the brand's blue ØY and yellow LYKKE fragrances to support the Ukraine.

The brand has also contributed 2% of its February income to help the Ukraine crisis, which amounts to around half of its profits.

All donations will go to the International Red Cross and the Ukrainian Central Bank’s fund to defend Ukraine.

Skandinavisk is a home and bodycare fragrance brand, inspired by Scandinavia. As a B Corp, the brand commits to verified high standards of social and environmental responsibility.

Shaun Russell, Founder of Skandinavisk, said: "Our immediate thought was what can we do to help? Ukraine is European, like us. It even touches us directly as some of our longest-serving suppliers are along the Ukrainian border while our Baltic and Nordic colleagues are fearful of escalation.

"In all honesty, we would rather people donate directly to the far more worthy causes being established. But, if our customers want to change their fragrances and make a contribution at the same time, they can do so by choosing these two fragrances. Ironically, our yellow fragrance, LYKKE, is headlined ‘The Little Things’. We just hope lots of small contributions like this, from businesses and private individuals alike, can go some way to helping those suffering from such unimaginable horror."
