Having previously held roles at Glossier and L’Oréal, N'Diaye went on to found the inclusive beauty brand Ami Colé in 2021, which she announced plans to wind down earlier this year.

Skims has named Diarrha N'Diaye as its new Executive Vice President of Beauty & Fragrance, where she will oversee product development and brand strategy for the rapidly expanding label.
"I want Skims Beauty to be a place where everyone feels represented, and there is no better person to help us do that than Diarrha," said Kim Kardashian, co-founder and Chief Creative Officer of Skims.
"She has an incomparable talent for blending the emotional and practical sides of beauty, and her instincts and experience in innovation and authenticity will drive our brand forward."
In a statement seen by WWD, N'Diaye said Kardashian’s vision for Skims Beauty involves "bringing makeup classics and excitement about beauty rituals while simplifying routines and focusing on skin from strand to toe".
She added: "My job is to figure out how we create this second-skin experience for the customer and bridge the gap from clothing to makeup, hair, and fragrance."
Earlier this year, Skims acquired Kardashian’s previous beauty venture, Skkn by Kim, from Coty Inc. The acquisition included both skincare and makeup, though financial terms were not disclosed.
"Diarrha’s modern and community-forward perspective on beauty aligns perfectly with the ambitions of Skims Beauty," said Jens Grede, Skims co-founder and CEO. "Her entrepreneurial background and ability to identify customers’ untapped needs will be instrumental in shaping our business."
The appointment follows confirmation from Kardashian that Skims Beauty is set to launch soon, marking her return to the cosmetics industry after the closure of KKW Beauty.
Recently speaking on the Call Her Daddy podcast with host Alex Cooper, Kardashian described the upcoming line as "major", explaining that she sold her former beauty business, repurchased it, and integrated it into Skims as part of a broader strategy to unify her fashion, fragrance, and beauty ventures under one brand.
Earlier this year, Skims debuted its first beauty-adjacent product - the Seamless Sculpt Face Wrap, a collagen-infused compression mask designed to lift and contour the jawline.
The product sold out within hours and generated significant online discussion for its design, reflecting a new direction that merges the brand’s shapewear expertise with skincare innovation.
