Skin Rocks unveils biggest campaign yet amid continued momentum

Skin Rocks has unveiled its biggest advertising campaign to date, spanning nationwide out-of-home and flyposting, as well as a social media takeover, as it continues its positive growth momentum.

Founded by skincare expert Caroline Hirons in 2022, Skin Rocks has grown 4x, delivering more than 50% year-on-year growth for three consecutive years.

The  activation marks the brand’s first foray into out-of-home advertising, an important mile stone as it continues to scale.

A core feature of the new campaign is the brand's renewed visual identity that is designed to reinforce Skin Rock's core mission and principles, which include straightforward product naming, transparent consumer education, clinically substantiated claims and a simplified approach to routine building.

The brand explained that the activation lands at a time when consumers are increasingly "seeking clarity and credibility within skincare", and are "moving away from overcomplicated routines, trend-led ingredients and unsubstantiated claims."

That is also where its new creative platform, Make Skincare Make Sense, comes in. In an increasingly crowded skincare market, it is meant to bring to life the brand's founding mission, reinforcing its distinctive position as it continues to scale.

The platform will go live on the Skin Rocks website next week, with content also being integrated in its social channels as well as its new advertising campaign.

Commenting on the campaign, Caroline Hirons, Founder of Skin Rocks, said: "I launched Skin Rocks after working with hundreds of brands and seeing the same issue over and over again.

"Not with the products themselves, but with the way skincare was being marketed. People were overwhelmed, confused and misled by buzzwords and trends rather than being given real education on what their skin actually needs. I wanted to create a brand that was results-led, honest and genuinely helpful."

Just last month the brand had announced a new exclusive partnership with luxury coastal resort Fairmont St Andrews in Scotland.

This followed a London pop-up in March, where it introduced its newest product, The Strong Acid, a high-strength exfoliating toner that combines alpha, beta and polyhydroxy acids in a single formula.

In a recent interview with TheIndustry.fashion, Skin Rocks founder Hirons and Head of Business Development, Michelle Hindmarch, on the storied history of the brand and its plans for future growth and expansion.
