SkinCeuticals launches virtual consultation service to boost customer engagement
L’Oréal-owned brand SkinCeuticals has launched a new virtual consultation experience, helping to enhance its customer engagement whilst "evolving the standard for digital beauty retail".
The new feature allows online users to connect directly with a licensed aesthetician for skincare advice, product recommendations, and a personalised skincare routine.
As part of this, customers can access advice in real time by submitting their questions via the brand's website.
Royzen Ekaterina, Vice President of Ecommerce & Digital Services at L’Oreal Dermatological, said: "The new experience provides consumers with virtual access to leading medical aesthetic professionals, offering personalised skincare routines, detailed procedural insights, and expert guidance in locating aesthetic physicians in their area.
"This will empower consumers to curate their individual skincare journeys and achieve their desired results."
It comes as L’Oréal continues to invest in dermatological beauty as it performs well for the company, with category sales up 11.3% in the first nine months of 2024.
For the full year, the division also grew twice as fast as the wider dermocosmetics market, delivering its sixth consecutive year of double-digit growth at 28.4% in 2023.
Other L’Oréal-owned brands within the category include La Roche-Posay, Vichy, CeraVe, and Skinbetter Science.
