Sol de Janeiro taps into glass skin trend with latest category launch

Sol de Janeiro has combined skincare science and its signature sensual rituals for its latest category launch – the Rosa Charmosa Dewy Cream and complementary Fragrance Mist – which tap into the glass skin trend, but in this case, for the body.

The Rosa Charmosa Dewy Cream is a luxuriously lightweight, water-whipped body cream that delivers long-lasting hydration and glass-skin radiance for up to 72 hours. It is powered by Crystal Peptide, Brazilian Yacón Essence, and Rosewater, to leave the skin silky-soft, visibly healthy, and luminous.

Rooted in neuroscience, the Rosa Charmosa category reimagines rose, fusing juicy rose with creamy tropical notes for a scent scientifically linked to mood elevation. Clinical trials reveal that 94% of users of the cream said their skin looked luminous and hydrated and that it boosted luminosity for 48 hours.

The Dewy Cream can be used in partnership with the new Cheirosa 91 Fragrance Mist, which features a blend of Rio Pink Rose with passionfruit, honey caramel, and cashmere woods.

The name Charmosa comes from the Portuguese for someone with irresistible charm and charismatic energy. The category joins other favourites in the Sol de Janeiro line-up, including the original Bum Bum, Bom Dia, Beija Flor and Delicia Drench.

The cream is priced at £48 (240ml) while the fragrance mist is £24 (90ml); it is available from Sol de Janeiro stockists such as Cult Beauty, Lookfantastic, Sephora, Boots and Space NK.
