Space NK celebrates 'record-breaking' peak period with biggest sales week in history

Space NK delivered record-breaking performance over November and December 2025, achieving total business growth of 26% year-on-year.

The British beauty giant recorded the biggest sales week in its history during Black Friday, exceeding its previous record by almost 20%.

Across both stores and online, Space NK added that it experienced "incredible" footfall throughout the wider peak trading period while maintaining "exceptional" conversion rates, driving standout overall performance.

Store sales grew by 23% year-on-year. Meanwhile, online trading rose by 30%, underpinned by the launch of Space NK’s new app in November.

The app outperformed expectations, delivering more than three times its forecasted results.

An extension of the brand’s in-store and online experience, the platform offers a curated selection of beauty brands optimised for mobile and tablet use.

Gifting was a standout success, with Christmas Gift Sets delivering the strongest gifting performance in Space NK’s history, growing over 40% in unit sales.

Makeup was the largest gifting category and achieved the highest unit growth at 80% year-on-year, while haircare and fragrance delivered 73% and 65% growth, respectively.

The retailer’s strategic investment in lower price points also proved effective, with entry-level gifting performing particularly strongly. Notably, 65% of gift set sales were generated from products priced under £30.
