Space NK continues expansion with three new stores
Space NK has announced the opening of three new stores and the expansion of an existing location as it continues to strengthen its store estate across the UK.
The first location will open at Bluewater Shopping Centre in April. With a trading space of 2760 sq ft, the store will be located in Unit 132, Lower Guildhall at the destination.
Meanwhile, both Chelmsford will open at 64 Bond Street and Leicester at High Cross Shopping Centre in June, with a trading space of 1824 sq ft and 2,300 sq ft, respectively.
Each new location will offer more than 100 of beauty brands, designed with the customer experience in mind, where textures, tones and lighting are paramount.
Charlie Evans, Head of Retail at Space NK, said: "We have an ambitious year planned for our stores this year – with exciting plans to follow for the second half of 2025.
"This is just start of bringing Space NK to more customers, making it easier for them to shop the best in beauty."
Space NK is also expanding its existing store in Glasgow, extending the current trading space from 1,400 sq ft to 2,125 sq ft. With more brands, more space, and more beauty to discover, the store will re-open at the end of March.
"The upsizing is fundamental to meeting customers’ needs in the city. Glasgow is one of our longest-standing stores, and we’re thrilled to be expanding. This will allow us to showcase more brands and better serve the growing demand we’ve seen in this location," Evans added.
It comes after Space NK previously announced plans to open ten stores in 2025 as the retailer continues to invest in the UK high street following a surge in sales and profits.
CEO Andy Lightfoot said that he was a "real believer" in bricks-and-mortar retail and had a pipeline of new openings in high streets and shopping centres across the UK.
He added that the business had "quite a long runway" for increasing its store estate and would open a similar number of outlets each year for the foreseeable future.
