STRAAND lands in the UK and aims to lead the "skinification" of hair
We've been educated in recent times on the importance of looking after our skin barrier, thanks to barrier boosting brands such as Byoma, Dr.Jart+ and REN, and now it's time to give the scalp some attention with the launch of Australian scalp care brand STRAAND landing on UK soil ready to disrupt the market.
STRAAND "crown-care for the next generation" aims to lead the conversation of "skinification" of hair. Just as skincare addresses the over-production of sebum on the face, STRAAND's range of cruelty-free, natural and vegan products do the same for the scalp.
STRAAND uses prebiotics to keep the sebum at bay and encourages cell turnover to combat scalp dryness, flaking and even hair loss.
The products contain DefenscalpTM: a patented smart multifunctional plant-derived ingredient, designed to rebalance the ecology of the scalp and its defence system in order to maintain a healthy non-oily looking scalp and hair.

The STRAAND range
“The way we see it, caring for your scalp is an essential part of your self-care routine,” says Sarah Hamilton, Co-founder. “It’s time to stop neglecting the skin on your head and embrace a new beauty routine that makes you feel good from root to tip.”
The products range from £14 to £24 and are available online at uk.straandscalpcare.com, www.sephora.co.uk and in store exclusively at Sephora Stratford.
