Summer Fridays brings Lip Butter-filled newsstand pop-up to London
Summer Fridays, renowned for its buttery, tinted lip balms, is bringing a newsstand-inspired pop-up to Covent Garden, in celebration of its new launch - Lip Butter Balm Hot Cocoa.
The US-based skincare and cosmetics brand, co-founded by Marianna Hewitt and Lauren Gores Ireland in 2018, redefines clean skincare with its commitment to simplicity and effectiveness.
Summer Fridays is inviting Londoners to celebrate the launches of its Jet Lag Collection - a collection of deeply hydrating skincare - and Lip Butter Balm Hot Cocoa - its popular lip balm and gloss hybrid featuring a new brown tint - at the newsstand, where they can sip on complimentary hot cocoa.
Here, customers will receive free Jet Lag Mask deluxe samples. Plus, the first 50 people visiting daily will each receive exclusive merch and a Jet Lag Floral bouquet—plus a few more surprises.

The pop-up, located at Covent Garden Piazza, Site A, will be open this weekend only, from 19-20 October.
This follows July's news when Summer Fridays announced that it had landed an investment from private equity firm TSG Consumer Partners to support its growth. TSG has taken a majority stake in the skincare company, though terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Co-founders Hewitt and Ireland, retained a significant stake and continue to lead the business alongside its current management team, including John Heffner, Chairman and CEO of Summer Fridays.
