Superdrug becomes UK's biggest piercing specialist

Superdrug has announced that it has overtaken Claire’s to become the UK's biggest piercing specialist. Claire’s had previously held the title for over 40 years.

Having initially launched its piercing services five years ago, the health and beauty retailer now operates over 340 piercing spots across the UK, with 5 more opening every week. The retailer hopes to eventually introduce the service across all of its 840 stores.

Alongside piercing and aftercare services, Superdrug is also expanding its jewellery offering with 72 new products.

We’re delighted that we’ve been able to provide that for hundreds of thousands of customers so far.”
