Superdrug has opened a new flagship at Westfield Stratford in London, marking the retailer's largest UK store to date.

The new 9,890 sq ft store, which represents a significant upsize from its previous unit at the East London shopping centre, offers customers access to the latest health and beauty products.

As part of this, shoppers can discover a competitive range of exclusive beauty and personal care brands such as Relove by Revolution and MUA and trending brands like Morphe 2 and Avon, as well as Superdrug's growing own-brand offer.

The space features a new fragrance counter, boasting "purse-friendly" promotions on perfume and aftershave by premium brands such as YSL, Viktor & Rolf, Giorgio Armani and Prada.

It is also home to a new Beauty Studio, which has doubled in size, allowing customers to access a variety of affordable professional treatments such as eyebrow, lash, nail and piercing services.

Nigel Duxbury, Property Director at Superdrug, said "We are delighted to be opening an even bigger store at Westfield Stratford, making it the largest Superdrug store in the UK.

"We are confident that local customers will be excited by the new store offering and enjoy our line-up of popular brands, luxury fragrance counter and professional Beauty Studio."

The news comes as Superdrug continues to expand its bricks-and-mortar retail footprint across the UK, with plans to open 25 new stores in 2024 as it celebrates its 60th anniversary.

In addition to the new stores, the retailer is also extending seven of its existing stores and refitting 60 throughout the year.
