Superdrug targets menopausal skin with new own-brand range
Superdrug has unveiled a new own-brand skincare range, developed for those experiencing changes in their skin related to peri-menopause and menopause.
Delivering visible results, the new collection is packed with active ingredients and formulated with peptide technology, giving skin the boost it needs to produce collagen and elastin for a "youthful glow".
The range, which features four products, includes a Comforting Sleep Cream, Hydrating Day Cream, Firming Serum and Hydrating Eye Cream.
Shona Bear, Quality and Technical Manager at Superdrug, said: "The new range has been designed with our customer in mind. We believe that great skincare during menopause should be within everyone’s reach – there’s no need to spend hundreds of pounds.
"We have done extensive research to find the right active ingredients to support skin changes at this time. We want to normalise menopause as a stage in life like any other, to remove the stigma and give simple, clear information – same you, slightly different skin, that’s all."
To promote the range, Superdrug has partnered with Menopause Wellness Practitioner and TikTok influencer, Kate Beavis.
Beavis will work with the health and beauty retailer to further inform its colleagues about menopause, as well as spread awareness campaigns within the business.
The launch adds to a number of beauty retailers, including Holland & Barrett, No7 and Boots, focussing on menopause with various initiatives and/or new product launches.
The B. Menopause range is available online and in-store at Superdrug from 4 October, with prices ranging from £13.99 to £16.99.
