Supergoop has appointed Jamie Parker as its first Chief Commercial Officer, a newly created role designed to strengthen the brand’s commercial leadership and support its next phase of growth.

Parker joins the US sun care brand from Coty, where he returned in early 2023, working across its e-commerce and digital divisions before becoming General Manager of its US Consumer Beauty division in October 2025.

He previously worked at Coty between 2018 and 2021, as well as Marks & Spencer and Torque Brands, where he served as Commercial Director.

The appointment is part of Supergoop’s plan to become a “global skin health company”, according to The Business of Fashion, and follows a series of senior hires across marketing, people strategy and executive leadership.

In March, Supergoop appointed Alana Kwarta as its first Chief Human Resources Officer. She oversees company-wide change initiatives, scalable operating processes and organisational design.

Kwarta joined Supergoop after more than two decades in people and culture roles at beauty companies including Chanel and L’Oréal. At the time, Supergoop CEO Melis del Rey said the new position reflected the company’s belief that “talent and culture are true competitive advantages”.

The brand also appointed former Peloton executive Lauren Weinberg as Chief Marketing Officer in February. Her responsibilities span creative, consumer insights, partnerships, communications, marketing and product innovation, supporting Supergoop’s efforts to introduce more consumers to daily SPF use.

Parker’s appointment comes less than a year after del Rey became CEO in December 2025. Before taking the position, del Rey was General Manager of Amazon US Health & Beauty and had accumulated more than two decades of experience across the global beauty and consumer products sector, including roles at Amazon and P&G.

Her appointment followed founder Holly Thaggard’s decision to step away from Supergoop’s day-to-day governance in April 2025. Thaggard launched the business in 2005 after a friend received a skin cancer diagnosis, developing skincare and beauty products designed to make daily sun protection easier to adopt.

The brand entered the UK market in 2020 and is available through retailers including Cult Beauty and Selfridges. Parker’s appointment adds dedicated commercial leadership as the company continues to expand its international reach and develop its broader skin health positioning.
