Sun care brand Supergoop is strengthening its leadership team with the appointment of Lauren Weinberg as its new Chief Marketing Officer.

In her new role, Weinberg will oversee brand, social and growth marketing, product innovation, creative, consumer insights, strategic partnerships and communications.

She brings experience from Peloton, where she most recently served as Chief Marketing Officer until August 2025.

Prior to this, she served as Chief Marketing & Revenue Officer at Intuit and as Global Chief Marketing Officer at Square, as well as other senior roles at Yahoo, MTV and Nielsen.

"Lauren is a world-class marketing leader with a rare ability to balance creativity, performance and operational rigor," said Melis del Rey, CEO of Supergoop.

"As Supergoop continues to grow and introduce millions of new consumers to SPF as a daily ritual, Lauren’s leadership will be instrumental in strengthening our brand, deepening consumer connection, and fueling long-term demand."

Founded by Holly Thaggard in 2005, Supergoop develops products designed to make incorporating SPF into daily routines straightforward and accessible, with the goal of promoting consistent sun protection.

Thaggard stepped away from the SPF brand in April last year, with Melis del Rey assuming the role of Chief Executive Officer in December.

With expertise in brand building, beauty technology innovation, and scaling businesses with retail partnerships to unlock shared growth, del Rey offers more than two decades of experience in the global beauty and consumer products industry.
