S’Young Group acquires luxury brand RéVive
Chinese conglomerate S'Young Group has acquired luxury skincare brand RéVive from Tengram Capital Partners.
Established by Dr Gregory Bays Brown in 1997, RéVive is formulated using bio-renewal technology to transform and renew skin to a healthier and more supple version of itself.
The business was previously acquired by Tengram from Shiseido in 2017. At the time of the deal, the US-based brand's sales were said to be around $15 million.
The new acquisition by S'Young Group comes after RéVive was rumoured to be exploring deal options in 2022, with sales increasing to roughly $30 million at the time.
Elana Drell Szyfer, the skincare brand’s chief executive officer, confirmed the move in a statement to WWD.
Szyfer added that RéVive's management team will continue in their current roles and the company will maintain independent operations under S'Young Group.
The conglomerate has worked with over 30 overseas brands, covering skincare, makeup, personal care, fragrance, healthcare and men's grooming.
It acquired fellow luxury skincare brand EviDenS de Beauté in 2022, with the aim of growing the brand's presence in China.
