The brush cleaning tool taking the UK by storm with Selfridges
Makeup brush cleaning is far too often overlooked, but Brushdoc is on a mission to make brush cleaning more effortless than ever. Now, its "revolutionary makeup brush cleaner" is entering the UK market securing Selfridges as a retail partner.
Setting out on its international growth strategy, The Brushdoc device and Cleansing Oil are now available online and in all four Selfridges stores. Whilst it sells to customers all over the world from its online store, this marks the first step in building the Irish brand’s retail footprint overseas.
Brushdoc was set up in November 2021 by Ciara and Gary Malone after they noticed a gap in the market for a USB-powered and easily transportable brush-cleaning tool that effortlessly cleans makeup brushes with minimal effort in just minutes. In 2022, they won the ‘Arnotts Pitch’ competition. Over the last two years, the founder duo has secured Irish retail partners Brown Thomas and Arnotts, but it's now ready to cement its place in the UK market.
Not only is Brushdoc known for its cleaning tool, but it is also renowned for its cleansing oil, solid soap, spot cleaner, micro fibre mats and sink mats. Recently, it has launched a range of makeup brushes and sponges. The brushes are set apart by their unique aluminium spatula feature used for deporting makeup.
Co-founders of Brushdoc, Gary and Ciara Malone said: "We are so incredibly proud of Brushdoc, and now, to be on the shelves of one of the biggest retailers in the UK is a massive milestone for us. This has been a goal of ours since we launched Brushdoc, so it’s a dream come true for us.
"We’re beyond delighted to join the Selfridges team and work closely with them over the coming years. We can’t wait to see what the future has in store for us!"
