The Inkey List has unveiled its latest innovation with a "game changing" Polyglutamic Acid Dewy Sunscreen SPF 30 for "protected, primed and dewy skin".

After two years in development, the "first-of-its-kind" SPF aims to provide inclusive, effective and affordable sun protection, building on the brand's mission to provide accessible skincare solutions.

The product's formula includes polyglutamic acid, squalene and glycerin, which act as a "clinically proven ultra-hydrating trio to create a dewy finish that leaves skin perfectly prepped for makeup".

The new suncream was inspired by the brand's existing Polyglutamic Acid Serum, which works to hydrate and brighten skin, whilst acting as a suitable primer for makeup.

Colette Laxton, Co-founder of The Inkey List, said: "For me, creating an SPF people want to wear was critical. My love for our Polyglutamic Acid Serum and the transformative effect it has on my skin (with or without makeup), made it a no-brainer to be a game changing lead ingredient in our SPF."

Superdrug recently revealed in its top beauty and lifestyle predictions for 2023 that the awareness of sun-damage to skin has risen and will continue to do so throughout the year.

The new launch marks the latest innovation for The Inkey List, following the launch of its SuperSolutions range last year. Consisting of four clinically-proven and accessible skincare products, the range was created to target "more challenging" skin concerns.
