Neil Brading, previously Marketing Director at The Inkey List, has been appointed Global Marketing Director at skincare brand Dr Sam's.

Brading was the Marketing Director at The Inkey List for just under a year, where he led Consumer Engagement/Activation, Social, PR, Influencer and Media. Prior to this, he was the Global Marketing Director at Nails.INC for a short-lived five months. He has also held senior marketing roles at 111SKIN and The Estée Lauder Companies.

Dr Sam's Skincare was launched in 2018 after dermatologist Dr Sam Bunting, otherwise known as a "beauty insider’s best-kept secret", saw her patients struggle to find the right skincare for their concerns and to effectively dose active ingredients. Inspired by seeing how transforming someone’s skin can also transform their attitude, Bunting is on a mission to provide dermatology and skincare for specialist skin concerns.

This appointment comes as Dr Sam's embarks on its retail expansion, something Brading will be a part of developing. Earlier this week, it was revealed that after six years of growing its D2C business, Dr Sam Bunting has selected Sephora as the first third-party retailer in the UK for her eponymous skincare line.

Brading took to LinkedIn to comment on Dr Sam's Sephora launch: "Exciting news! Excited to be part of it!".

Victoria Campbell, Managing Director at Dr Sam's, said: "We are thrilled to have Neil join the team, he is an experienced marketing leader whose vision and strategic input will help us scale Dr Sam's in both the UK and on a global level. With his extensive background in beauty, particularly skincare, brand-building expertise across both smaller and larger businesses, his knowledge of the US market, and his creativity and warmth, he will be a great fit for the brand."
