The Perfume Shop champions women as it appoints two new female directors

The Perfume Shop, which reported record sales in 2023, has bolstered its leadership team with the appointment of two new directors, Karen Harris and Laura Wilkinson, to support its "future-fit" strategy.

Karen Harris, previously Head of Marketing at The Perfume Shop, will take up the position of Customer Director. In her new role, Harris will be responsible for customers, loyalty, marketing and PR.

Laura Wilkinson, previously Head of Digital at The Perfume Shop, will take up the position of Online Business Director. She will be responsible for the evolution of the retailer’s online business via its website and mobile app.

Both roles will form part of The Perfume Shop’s leadership team.

The Perfume Shop also published its 2023 Gender Pay Gap report. Covering 1639 employees, the report reveals that in its stores, the median Gender Pay Gap is 0.95%, reflecting the company’s equal pay policy.

Within The Perfume Shop’s Head Office, the average gender pay gap is -3.97%, reflecting the high number of females within senior roles and its commitment to supporting women’s growth within the workplace.
