The Perfume Shop opens a digitally-enhanced experiential store
Highstreet retailer, The Perfume Shop, has today opened the doors to an experiential store in Bradford, which features upgraded services such as digital screens and personalised gift wrapping.
The British retailer, which celebrated its 30th Birthday last year, has opened a new store offering over 130 brands including the latest perfume launches, celebrity fragrances and classic designer scents.
The new store is located at Charles Street Mall at The Broadway Centre, where shoppers can take advantage of digital screens, expert fragrance consultants and personalised ribbon machines.
In March, The Perfume Shop launched its biggest perfume bottle recycling service to date as part of its commitment to "combat unnecessary perfume bottle wastage". The new store takes part in the recycling scheme, meaning customers can drop off used perfume bottles to receive 15% off their next purchase.
From 15-16 June, the new location will also offer a complimentary bottle of fragrance to the first 30 customers with any purchase over £60.
The company's expansion has seen experiential counters cropping up across the UK. It has also set out to re-fit existing stores to ensure sustainability is always at the forefront, contributing to The Perfume Shop’s commitment to reducing its energy consumption by 30% by 2030 vs 2015.
Satwinder Anand, Store Manager at The Perfume Shop, commented: "We’re excited to reveal our new experiential store in Bradford. From fragrance consultations, personalised ribbon machines and complimentary gift wrapping, there’s something for everyone.
"Whether you’re looking for a gift for yourself or looking to treat a loved one for Father’s Day, The Perfume Shop is here to guide you to ensure you’re choosing the right fragrance. We can’t wait for our customers to experience the new experiential store."
