The UK’s first perfume-themed escape room is coming to London later this month, hosted by The Perfume Shop in celebration of National Fragrance Week.

Designed to take guests on a journey through the world of fragrance, the new ‘Scent Unlocked’ pop-up will challenge participants to unlock scent-inspired puzzles while exploring four themed rooms dedicated to perfume brands including Gucci, Marc Jacobs, BOSS and Burberry.

As part of this, attendees will also have the opportunity to collect exclusive treats throughout the activation.

The escape room will be open to the general public on Friday 21 and Saturday 22 March, with tickets priced at £5. All proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to The Perfume Shop’s chosen charity, Alzheimer’s Research UK.

Karen Harris, Customer Director at The Perfume Shop, said: "We are thrilled to bring a one-of-a-kind experience to perfume lovers. Our goal is to celebrate the magic of scent while supporting an incredible cause close to our hearts."

With shoppers seeking more immersive, entertainment-driven retail options, the new pop-up comes amid rising demand for experiences that go beyond simple transactions.

This concept is particularly popular across beauty, with more and more brands hosting activations to entice consumers and drive awareness, engagement and sales.
