American music producer Pharrell Williams founded gender-neutral skincare business Humanrace in 2020. Humanrace was described by the producer as a “universe of products and people dedicated to the pursuit of wellbeing”.

In addition to using natural formulas, the packaging is made from post-consumer recycled plastic, which means it uses 50% less plastic than it would do normally, and each product has a removable inner chamber that can be exchanged for a refill.
