Margaret Dabbs London has become synonymous with combining podiatry-led medical expertise with luxury beauty, delivering results-driven, high-quality treatments and formulations. The brand now encompasses 12 clinics across the UK and four international locations - in A Coruña, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Madrid - alongside a range of retail products.

In an exclusive interview with TheIndustry.beauty, Dabbs discusses what sets her services apart, what it means to be an innovator in today’s beauty landscape, the trends shaping the next wave of beauty innovation, and more.

What are the core values that drive Margaret Dabbs London and how are they reflected in the business?

Our core values are excellence, integrity and innovation. They show in every aspect of our business - from medically grounded treatments to highly effective formulations and the elegant, luxurious feel of our clinics. We never compromise on quality because customers trust us to deliver transformative treatment results.

What set your services apart and resonated with the judges (and consumers)?

What sets us apart is that we combine expert-backed podiatry treatments and products with genuine luxury. Our services are indulgent yet highly effective, addressing real concerns with precision for men and women. Innovation also sets us apart - whether launching world-first products or refining protocols, we focus on the feet, hands, nails and legs which are often overlooked by the beauty industry.  This fusion of problem solving, targeted care and luxury resonates deeply with our customers and judges alike.

What was the significance of winning the Spa/Salon (Skin, Body & Nail) award?

It’s a proud moment, validating our team’s expertise and passion. The award highlights our unique approach: delivering clinical results while promoting comfort and wellbeing. It also reflects changing consumer expectations -they want treatments that truly make a difference.

What are the biggest opportunities and challenges in the beauty sector today?

For me, opportunity continues to lie in bridging health and beauty, delivering excellence in a sector in which we are leaders. Consumers are informed, demanding transparency, efficacy, and indulgence - all strengths of the Margaret Dabbs London brand. The challenge is education and standing out in a saturated, fast-moving market while staying authentic, credible, and true to our values.

What does it mean to be an innovator in beauty today?

Innovation means anticipating customers’ needs with thoughtful, caring, results-driven solutions. Every product and treatment is clinically informed and designed for measurable impact. Sustainability is central too, ensuring responsibility in packaging, sourcing and operations.

What role does innovation play in shaping the services you offer?

Innovation drives everything we do, from high-performance formulations to medically credible treatment protocols. We constantly evolve to deliver effective, luxurious care for feet, hands, nails and legs by bridging podiatry and beauty.

What trends are influencing the next wave of innovation in beauty?

Beauty is increasingly health-led, focusing on wellbeing, confidence and longevity. Personalised, evidence-based treatments, LED therapy and non-invasive technologies are rising in demand. We embrace these trends while still staying true to our fusion of medical expertise and luxury.

How do you maintain your position as an industry leader?

We focus on three pillars: exceptional customer experience, meaningful innovation, and expert knowledge. Products and treatments are clinically backed, not trend-driven. Rigorous specialist training, careful product development and listening to customer feedback keep us ahead while staying true to our brand.

What can customers expect over the next year?

We’re continuing to expand the number of branded clinics and increase our product line with expert formulations. We are growing our treatment menu in clinics and introducing cutting-edge technologies. Every innovation is aimed at elevating the customer experience.
