Therapié Clinic to open at London's Angel Central
Thérapie Clinic is opening a 2,172 sq ft space in Angel Central, north London, in 2025.
The new location will be situated adjacent to Rituals and the recently refurbished Accessorize.
Thérapie Clinic is an aesthetic clinic chain specialising in advanced skincare, laser hair removal, and aesthetic treatments.
The Angel Central location will offer medical-grade laser hair removal, world-class body sculpting and toning treatments, cosmetic injections, skin treatments, and more.
The clinic aims to deliver an affordable and accessible beauty and wellness experience to the local community and diversify the centre’s retail mix.
Thérapie Clinic was founded in Dublin in 2001. It has since delivered over 10 million treatments.
The clinic now operates in over 70 locations across Ireland, the UK, and the US.
Joining anchor stores Uniqlo and H&M, the new clinic marks a fully occupied ground floor for the shopping destination, following the arrival of several established retailers such as Mango, Kiko and Oliver Bonas earlier this year.
These openings have translated into increased sales across the centre, with Angel Central seeing a 34.8% uplift throughout the third quarter of this year and an 11.4% like-for-like sales increase.
Footfall during this period was also up by 2.6% and 3.7% compared to the third quarter of 2023 and 2019, respectively, with year-to-date sales currently sitting at +25.8% and +8.1% like-for-like.
In July, the company announced plans to open 65 new clinics in Ireland and the UK, aiming to expand their services further.
Its expansion into the United States began with the launch of a clinic in New York City, marking their first US location.
In August this year, Thérapie Clinic named rugby star Conor Murray as the first male laser hair removal ambassador.
The clinic said it signed the Six Nations champion as he "represents the brand’s male customer perfectly".
Phillip McGlade, Thérapie Clinic CEO, said at the time: "When we delved into recent consumer insights and trends, we could see a clear increase in the male customer for laser hair removal.
"Having clinic teams speak with male clients on why they were getting laser hair removal, some of the answers varied from wanting to feel more confident or their partner preferred them to have less body hair to having skin that didn’t react well to razors, causing irritation and generally wanting a more long-term solution."
