THG Ingenuity forms alliance with BigCommerce to support brand digital transformations
THG Ingenuity, the commerce division of online retail group THG, has formed a strategic alliance with e-commerce platform BigCommerce to develop a solution to support brand digital transformations.
The solution will draw on BigCommerce's enterprise e-commerce platform, used by fast-growing B2B and B2C brands, and THG's proprietary back-end commerce capabilities including order management, fraud and customer services solutions and automation including Autostore and global courier platform.
The two partners plan to develop a solution that will enable brands to create and implement "flexible and frictionless customer journeys" that can be scaled in line with business goals and global growth ambitions.
THG Ingenuity and BigCommerce are also actively engaged in talks about potential further collaboration, including combining industry-leading solutions from THG Ingenuity and BigCommerce platforms to further extend each offering, as well as enhancing omnichannel selling via leading feed management solution Feedonomics.
Vivek Ganotra, CEO of THG Ingenuity, said: “We are excited to announce our strategic discussions with BigCommerce. We believe that all brands should be able to create and implement digital commerce strategies. By combining THG Ingenuity and BigCommerce’s extensive experience and capabilities we can help brands to establish themselves in the global market.”
Russell Klein, Chief Commercial Officer at BigCommerce, added: “BigCommerce is committed to providing merchants access to the most innovative technologies and service providers available in the industry. We look forward to working with Ingenuity to help merchants scale internationally, grow faster and maximise success.”
