Among this week's beauty launches is a holiday-inspired collection by Harry Styles' Pleasing, three fine fragrances from Ruth Mastenbroek Perfumer London, two blemish control products from CeraVe and a collection expansion from Elf Cosmetics.

Harry Styles unveils third Pleasing collection

Harry Styles' Pleasing has revealed its new Hot Holiday micro-collection, marking the brand's third range since launching last year. The collection features four new shades of biodegradable nail polish, along with two new skin and body products.

The Everybody Oil is a flower and fruit oil blend, with ingredients including jojoba seed, avocado, buckthorn berry and Roman chamomile. Aromatherapeutic bergamot and bitter orange come together to present Pleasing’s first foray into scent.

The Pleasing Spritz pairs ingredients such as niacinamide and hyaluronic acid with antioxidant-rich extracts maris aqua and euglena gracilis to help rebalance skin.

The Hot Holiday polish shades include Beach Ball as a deep ocean blue, Nonna’s Sorbet as a vibrant yellow, Harry’s Chair as a seaweed green and Wet Bottoms as a clear gloss.

Ruth Mastenbroek Perfumer London

Ruth Mastenbroek expands fragrance range

Ruth Mastenbroek Perfumer London has introduced three new vegan fine fragrances to its portfolio.

Celebrating master perfumer Ruth’s British heritage, each fragrance is infused with an essential oil that is grown, harvested and distilled in the UK. Each fragrance also includes its own essential oil rollerball.

  • The ZEPHYR forest mint fragrance includes notes of peppermint, grapefruit, blackcurrant and oakmoss.
  • The MARLIN lavender dune fragrance includes notes of lavender, armoise, cedar atlas and amber.
  • The GAIA chamomile moor fragrance includes notes of chamomile, bergamot, green tea and freesia.

Ruth Mastenbroek is a British master perfumer and former President of the British Society of Perfumers. She has created fragrances for leading brands including Jo Malone London and launched her own collection in 2010.

Ruth Mastenbroek, Master Perfumer & Founder, said: “We have so much incredible nature on our doorstep. I was inspired to harness this bounty and reimagine well-known perfumery ingredients to surprise the senses."

Victoria's Secret launches first new fragrance in five years

Victoria's Secret has launched its new Bare Eau de Parfum, the brand's first fine fragrance in five years.

According to the brand, the new fragrance aims to "harnesses the power of individuality" by adapting to every person's body chemistry to generate a scent that is unique to them.

Created with a proprietary blend of musks, the fragrance features mandarin, violet petals and sandalwood to create the brand's "most personal" fragrance yet.

Kristen Lagoa, VP of Merchandising, Beauty & Accessories at Victoria's Secret, said: "Bare Eau de Parfum is our most intimate fragrance yet. It's about a quiet confidence that comes from knowing your authentic self, and celebrates individuality in its most natural form. Choosing a scent is such a personal experience, so we took our time in creating a one-of-a-kind fragrance that could be both relatable and unique to everyone who wears it."

Typology

Typology introduces new serum for sensitive skin

French skincare brand Typology has launched its new 9-Ingredient Face Soothing Serum, designed to meet the needs of sensitive and dehydrated skin.

The soothing facial serum is formulated using only essential ingredients, with all extra ingredients or non-active elements removed. The ingredients include beta-glucan, vegetable glycerin, purified water and citric acid.

The 9-ingredient serum completes Typology's minimalist TEN range, which features products with no more than ten natural ingredients. The brand's 9-Ingredient Face Moisturiser, 7-Ingredient Micellar Water and 9-Ingredient Lip Balm are among the other products in this collection.

Priced at £28.50 for 30ml and £15.30 for 15ml, the 9-Ingredient Face Soothing Serum is available online at Typology.

ELF Cosmetics

Elf Cosmetics expands Holy Hydration! range

Elf Cosmetics has added to its Holy Hydration! skincare range with its new Remedy Hand Cream and Lip Mask.

Both the hand cream and leave-on lip mask aim to provide lightweight and non-greasy finish. The product duo includes squalane and hyaluronic acid for hydration. 

The products join the brand's existing Holy Hydration! range, which features skincare including a Makeup Melting Cleansing Balm, Face Cream, Eye Cream, Sleeping Mask and Daily Cleanser.

Priced at £7 and £5, the Holy Hydration! Remedy Hand Cream and Lip Mask is available online at Elf Cosmetics.

CeraVe

CeraVe Blemish Control Cleanser and Gel 

CeraVe has introduced two new products under the Blemish Control banner. The first is a cleanser, which is alcohol free, pH balanced and has a gel-to-foam formula specifically for facial use. It combines acne-fighting ingredients to remove dirt and oil while preventing new breakouts, plus three essential ceramides to maintain the skin’s barrier.

Meanwhile the Blemish Control Gel is CeraVe’s first alcohol and oil-free once-daily gel treatment to clear imperfections and reduce visible acne in three days, without damaging the skin barrier. Using a blend of active ingredients and ceramides, MVE technology slowly releases the ingredients to provide eight-hour hydration.

The cleanser is priced at £10.50 while the gel is £12.50. Both are available at Boots.

Sam McKnight Happy Endings Nourishing Balm

Hair maestro Sam McKnight has launched the Happy Endings Nourishing Balm, described as the ultimate multi-tasking conditioning and styling balm to bring "polish and shine to any hair look". As the nation is engulfed in a heat wave, R+Co's latest launch looks perfectly timed. The Moon Landing Anti-Humidity Spray. Key ingredients such as polymer seal the hair shaft to block humidity, while Panethol (Provitamin B5) works to provide instant hydration and lustre to the hair. Finally Sea Buckthorn Oil promotes and improves hair and scalp health.
