Tom Ford has appointed Lucy Bridge as its new Global Makeup Artist, ushering in a new chapter for the luxury brand’s beauty division.

The British MUA debuted her role at the brand's SS26 ready-to-wear runway show in Paris.

In a post on Instagram, Bridge said: "I am honoured to join the Tom Ford and Tom Ford Beauty family along with [Creative Director] Haider Ackermann to bring my modern vision of makeup to the new era of Tom Ford.

"My younger self would not believe how far I have come in my makeup journey and I cannot wait to start this new chapter with such an incredible and inspiring team."

The brand’s official statement highlights Bridge’s reputation for a "boundary-defying approach to beauty" and applauds her "modern vision that embraces individuality in its most authentic and expressive form".

Bridge is renowned for her avant-garde approach to makeup, characterised by bold, graphic designs and a fearless embrace of colour and form.

Her portfolio spans runways, red carpets, films, and high-profile editorials, and is influenced by fine art, cinema, and subcultures, resulting in striking, expressive looks that challenge traditional beauty.

Tom Ford Beauty has been crafted in partnership with The Estée Lauder Companies since 2006.

In November 2022, Estée Lauder further solidified its commitment to the brand by acquiring the wider Tom Ford business for $2.8 billion, gaining full ownership of the label and its intellectual property.

With Bridge at the helm of makeup artistry, Tom Ford Beauty is poised to enter a dynamic new era defined by innovation, individuality, and creativity.
